We are looking for a Product Designer with an interest in wealth management, fintechs and ensuring our clients have a stellar investment experience.
Collaborating with the investment product and the tech development team, you will have ownership of the end-to-end Product Design lifecycle. You will be required to employ your superior user experience design practices to engage directly with clients and incorporate their feedback into the UI design process to drive product growth. You will be required to continue to constantly refine and optimise the design with the evolving technology roadmap.
Take ownership of the overall responsibility for the product's User Experience to become the voice of the user.
Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with end-users, product managers, investment team and engineers to turn this into workflows as well as select, design and/or refine UI elements used through the application.
Facilitating workshops related to requirements gathering, usability testing, and acceptance testing.
Develop sketches, wire-frames and interactive models to prototype and test solutions.
Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and perform and how they can be aesthetically optimized for a superior user experience.
Design dynamic user interface elements, like menus, images. tabs and widgets
Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. mobile responsiveness)
The preferred candidate would exhibit the following:
In your 3-4 years+ of UX/UI design experience, you have shipped product, ideally in the fintech, SaaS or eCommerce space
Demonstrated ability solving problems through design and the ability to communicate your ideas with sketches, journey maps, wireframes, screen flows and rapid prototypes.
You can understand & identify user requirements through interviews, user testing, contextual inquiries and data analysis.
You can create clear and friendly user interfaces and have a portfolio to showcase your work.
You can clearly interpret and negotiate with business stakeholders the technical, business, and design constraints whilst prioritising each factor into each product design decision.
You are comfortable with constructive feedback: providing value-adding commentary and receiving feedback from others as part of your creative process.
The remuneration for this role will be a combination of salary and long-term incentive scheme, including an attractive share option plan. Stropro’s Employee Share Plan is based on the performance of the company through the achievement of individual and company objectives.
